2-day itinerary in Hamburg — Germany’s most Portuguese city
Hamburg the city in Germany that, like Amsterdam, is crossed by canals, is connected to the North Sea by Elbe’s river. For the first time in Germany i have to say that Hamburg is a box of surprises. It is actually the most Portuguese city in Germany, which ended up making me feel a special affection for it (which in itself is already charming).
With two inviting days, it was written in the sky “make the most of the sun” which in Netherlands only offers your entire smile (without shyness) a few times a year. In this way, my boyfriend and i explored the city and historic sites 95 ‰ of the time outdoors and Hamburg became a little piece of heaven after months of almost no sun in Netherlands. Nobody would say that we would be going through a frightening phase, at a time when the virus COVID-19, is spreading more and more in Europe, this trip would not be recommended but since we had already scheduled it two months in advance and without possibility of reimbursement of accommodation, here we were in March and one of the measures we took to try to protect ourselves and others, was to travel through Hamburg on foot, and not using public transport.
