Discovering The Hague — Part I

It is late July, at the peak of summer in the Netherlands. As such, I decided to find a good option for those visiting the Netherlands in the summer who want to enjoy a cultural visit to the Netherlands and enjoy the one that is the most famous beach in the Netherlands. I can already say that this beach has a Ferris wheel located on its pier, which is lovely but before we get to the beach, let’s get to know the city of The Hague.

After Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the Hague is the third most populous city in the Netherlands.

The Hague is located in the province of South Holland and is approximately 70km from Amsterdam. Although The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government, it is not officially the capital of the Netherlands, but it is home to 104 embassies and consulates. In The Hague live inhabitants of more than 100 nationalities.

Speaking of numbers, 45 museums and 11km of coastline are enough reasons for this visit, right?
