Must-see autumn in the Netherlands -Alkmaar and Heiloo
Autumn in the Netherlands to me is synonymous of breathtaking landscapes where the leaves of the now bare trees decorate the landscape that is dressed in orange. For those ready to visit the Netherlands during the fall I will leave tips from two places to be dazzled by the real fall in Heiloo, or get lost in the city of Alkmaar, at least one of these places has to be on your road trip.
Bergen is also a good option to visit this season although i have not visited Bergen in the autumn I imagine the landscapes now there are even better, this municipality is neighboring to Alkmaar, which makes it possible to join Alkmaar, Heiloo and Bergen on a trip to the Netherlands.
In my sincere opinion joining the three places in one day is very tight but I would say that two days would be enough to know these places in the North Holland. Which is why I am going to leave here tips on the most prominent places for those who have little time and want to know Alkmaar and Heiloo in one day. Both are located in North Holland, approximately 50 kilometers from Amsterdam.
